Lawrence E. Pierce (Recently Retired)

Lawrence E. Pierce (Larry) is one of British Columbia's most experienced and respected personal injury and disability trial lawyers. Larry has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia where he has won seminal decisions against the insurance industry including the first court decision in Canada, which awarded aggravated damages against a disability insurance company for failing to pay a claim. He graduated with a Bachelor of Law from the University of British Columbia in 1983 and he was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1984. He has been featured in the national and local media for his success against the insurance industry.

Andrew C.K. Oh

Legal Counsel

Andrew C.K. Oh was called to the Alberta Bar in 2005 and the British Columbia Bar in 2006. He graduated from the University of Alberta in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts with distinctions and from the University of British Columbia in 2004 with a Bachelor of Law. Andrew practices exclusively in the area of Plaintiff civil litigation with notable experience in disability insurance, personal injury, professional negligence and wrongful dismissal.

Andrew has represented clients in mediations, settlement negotiations, and judicial case conferences and before administrative tribunals including CPP disability tribunals, Human Rights tribunals, Adult offender criminal diversion hearings and EI tribunals. He has appeared as counsel before the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia as well as the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench and Provincial court.

Andrew is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association, the Trial Lawyer's Association and the Vancouver Bar Association. Andrew also plays an active role in the community as a volunteer lawyer for the University of British Columbia Law Student's Legal Advice Program.
